Willow Grove Plan – Latest Victim of Economic Downturn

It is being reported that Federal Realty Investment Trust decided it will focus on filling vacancies at the Willow Grove Shopping Center instead of a much more ambitious project effectively killing the major effort.

Disaster Assistance to UM Township Residents Affected by Flooding

The SBA announced today that Pennsylvania residents and businesses affected by storms and flooding in Montgomery County on August 2, can apply for low-interest disaster loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration.  Additional information can be found at the UM Township link below.

Upper Moreland Library Update

August 13, 2009

The project includes new carpeting, furniture, librarian workspaces and wall storage. The project is anticipated to be completed this fall.  Anticipated benefits will include the ability to provide easier assistance to children with searches.
