The Friends of the Upper Moreland Free Public Library are proud to announce the second annual First Friday in February Family Fun-Raiser. New apartment complex plans will move to full UM Board approval

The commissioners voted last night to move the plans for the new apartment complex to be built on York road for approval vote by the full board next month.  The apartment complex is due to be open August of this year, in time for the fall school semester.

Benjamin Foods consolidating into Upper Moreland

Willow Grove Naval Air Station cleanup status unclear

January 18, 2010

As the proposed plans to reuse the air base changes from a military use to civilian use, it is uncertain whether or not the military will be required to return the land as “clean land.”  There are 12 locations on the base which have been designated as PA Superfund sites.  Eight of these locations have already been finished.
