Teva plan being watched by neighboring towns

Neighboring towns are closely monitoring the plans as it would send out and receive an anticipated 75 to 100 trucks a day, building to 150 to 200 once the facility reaches full capacity.

Snow Emergency Declared in Upper Moreland

Upper Moreland Township has declared a snow emergency starting at 7:00 PM Thursday, February 25, 2010 and ending at 9:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2010.  Residents are prohibited from parking on any road that has been posted as a “Snow Emergency Route.”

Upper Moreland Trash and Recycling collection for Thursday the 25th has been canceled

Upper Moreland has posted on their web site that “trash and recycling collection scheduled for Thursday, February 25th has been canceled due to weather conditions. Thursday’s Trash and Recycling collection has now been rescheduled for Monday, March 1st, 2010.”

Feb. 12, 2010 – Retail Theft

Anthony Davis, age 56, of the 1500 block of S. 24th Street, Phila., and Raheem Eaddy, age 27, of the 34oo block of Helen Street, Phila., were arrested by Wal-Mart security after the pair was observed hiding merchandise and attempting to leave the store. (more…)

Upper Moreland takes next steps on Memorial Park Plan

At the monthly Parks and Recreation Committee meeting, the plan for Veterans Memorial Park was discussed and agreed to be put in front of the entire Board of Commissioners for approval at the next meeting on Monday, March 1st.
